Network Design, Recommendations & Implementation

A well-designed network is an investment, the right communications equipment and cabling system will give rise to excellent desktop performance and expansion for a number of years. Logic employs high-level consultants who research and discuss customer needs and budget levels to ensure that they gain the maximum benefit from the investment.

Such networks can be fully project managed when Logic also undertakes deployment of the cabling.

Prior to installation and/or purchase, many application providers can overspecify bandwidth requirements to ensure that they are not 'held to account' over performance at a later point or simply see this as the root cause of WAN performance.  As we are all aware, bandwidth from telecomm suppliers is an expensive commodity if under utilised.  Logic can arrange advanced network monitoring equipment that can evaluate bandwidth requirements and analyse the protocols in use and thus ensure that the client only purchases what is needed.

In a LAN scenario, incorrect configuration of switches, hubs, PCs, servers and even cabling irregularities cause performance problems.  Again the monitoring equipment can quickly assist in diagnosing the cause of such problems and recommendations can be made.
